Completed sign in situ with 24ct gold gilding.
The sign on the fence is also Cumbrian Kirkby slate with gilding.
I worked closely with my clients to design this plaque. The location had to be considered when deciding the fixing method and size. The style of lettering ties all three pieces together.
The design changed a lot as we progressed. The lettering started out with straight letterforms and lines and developed into the final version that has a lot more movement.
